Connecticut Housing Partners:
Making Future Happen
Connecticut Housing Partners approached us with a powerful mission: to introduce hydroponic farm units across their properties, creating not only a sustainable food source but a hands-on learning hub for the community.
To bring their vision to life, we designed a vibrant, data-driven impact report that tells the full story of their “Making Future Happen” initiative. The print piece features bold visuals of children engaging with fresh produce, hydroponic towers teeming with greens, and clear infographics that communicate social, environmental, and nutritional outcomes.
Every element of the design was intentionally crafted to reflect the heart of the program — sustainability, education, and community resilience. The layout balances vibrant imagery with accessible text, making the piece both informative and emotionally engaging.
From rising food insecurity stats to real-world outcomes like food waste reduction and youth involvement, this print design empowers CHP to connect with donors, partners, and the community with clarity and purpose.
Connecticut Housing Partners: Alternate Concept Design
Not every great design ends up being the final selection — and that’s perfectly okay. For Connecticut Housing Partners' “Making Future Happen” initiative, we explored multiple creative directions to ensure the best possible fit for their mission, message, and audience.
This alternate version of the impact report embraced a clean, modern aesthetic with organic shapes, youthful energy, and layered visual storytelling. While it wasn't ultimately the chosen direction, it still reflects strong design principles: thoughtful hierarchy, compelling data visualization, and community-centered imagery that amplifies the voices and stories at the heart of the initiative.
From the way statistics were integrated with environmental illustrations, to the uplifting tone of the call-to-action pages, this version stands as proof that unused concepts can still represent meaningful, high-quality design.

Connecticut Housing Partners: Real Estate Masters Overview
Connecticut Housing Partners came to us with a clear goal — to develop a high-level print piece that introduces investors and stakeholders to Real Estate Masters, their real estate development and management division.
To help them communicate their value, we created a sharp, professional overview that blends clear messaging with strong visual structure. The piece highlights the full scope of Real Estate Masters’ services — from managing multifamily and market-rate developments to overseeing commercial real estate and housing authority properties.
Strategic use of bold headlines, real property imagery, and confident color blocking ensures the design conveys both credibility and clarity. The layout guides readers through the company’s experience, leadership, and operational strengths — all while reinforcing the brand’s mission-driven approach to community-centered development.

Connecticut Housing Partners: Merton House II Donor Outreach Design
Connecticut Housing Partners was preparing to launch Merton House II, an affordable housing project created to provide single mothers and their children with more than just shelter — it offers stability, safety, and the opportunity to rebuild.
To support their fundraising efforts, CHP needed a compelling, emotionally resonant document to inform and inspire potential donors. We designed this multi-page donor piece to do just that — combining impactful statistics, powerful visuals, and clear messaging to emphasize both the urgency of the housing crisis and the hope this project represents.
The piece leads with bold data points about homelessness in Connecticut, then transitions into personal stories and service highlights — from job training to food insecurity prevention. The final call-to-action is grounded in a sense of collective responsibility and optimism: with the right support, we can make home happen.
Every page was designed to balance heart and strategy — encouraging readers to act while deepening their understanding of the mission.

Housatonic Museum of Art: Art For All Conference Design Series
The Housatonic Museum of Art, housed within Connecticut State Community College at Housatonic, was selected to host a national gathering of leaders from community colleges across the country. The purpose? To advocate for and celebrate the presence of museums on community college campuses — emphasizing their role in education, accessibility, and community connection.
To support this prestigious event, the Museum needed more than just an announcement — they needed a piece that could inform, invite, and inspire. Something that felt like it belonged not just in the museum, but of it.
We responded by creating a bold, visually arresting graphic suite that functions as a Save The Date, invitation, and piece of visual storytelling. The designs blend institutional clarity with expressive, contemporary energy — using abstract paint, vibrant movement, and map-inspired direction to symbolize the national reach of this event and the creative power of connection.
These pieces do more than share event details — they visually represent the conference theme: Connecting Campus and Community through Art.
